Since 2002, we have been at the forefront of providing quality education and resources to empower young individuals in our community. Through different initiatives, we strive to ensure that every child has access to quality education, opportunities for personal growth, and a supportive community environment that fosters their success and development as future leaders.

OUR HISTORY
Since its inception in 2002, Christ Tabernacle Ministries of Excellence has been a pillar in the community. In 2000, Dr. James L. Harding Sr., Founder and Senior Pastor of Christ Tabernacle Apostolic Church, established a separate 501(c)(3) organization focused on community development and youth education. This marked the beginning of Christ Tabernacle Ministries of Excellence, Inc. The same year saw the founding of the Christ Tabernacle Learning Center (CTLC), which has since provided preschool and after-school programs to hundreds of children in Hamilton City. From 2002 to 2012, CTLC served over 500 students, emphasizing quality education at an affordable rate in an underserved community, including families using childcare assistance vouchers.
In 2005, Christ Tabernacle Ministries of Excellence, Inc. submitted a proposal to the Ohio Department of Education, becoming the first minority-led organization authorized to establish charter schools in Ohio. This initiative led to the establishment of Educational Resource Consultants of Ohio, Inc., which now oversees more than 25 charter schools statewide, serving over 10,000 students.
In 2018, CT Cares was launched to provide essential resources to students impacted by adverse conditions such as trauma, neglect, and abuse. Through its programs and events, CT Cares has positively influenced the lives of over 2,000 students a year in the community.
Our mission remains steadfast: to offer quality resources that empower students to thrive academically, recover from trauma, and prepare physically for success in every aspect of life. Each student we educate and nurture into leadership reshapes the trajectory of future generations.
